Tanager Photography is the slow-cooked paella of Kevin and Hailey Day.
Born and raised in Colorado, Kevin is a semi-pro photographer and the founder of Headwaters Content. For years, photography and writing have arm wrestled for Passion-in-Chief, and while he recently declared photography the winner, the bout will continue here on this big, sprawling blog.
His favorite subject for photography is anything involving travel, but he’s also into portraiture and food.
Hailey hails from Maryland — her great Colorado experiment (which started in 1997 with a bachelors at Colorado College) is now indefinite. For Hailey, passions aren’t so simple. She paints, she cooks, she shoots and she designs websites, graphics, and animations for a living with her own company, HeyDay Creative.
They have a beautiful daughter named Varenna, and their travel has taken them to Italy, Spain, Switzerland, Hawaii, Ecuador, Costa Rica, Mexico, Belize, Cape Cod and of course, all over the freaking place in Colorado.
