Well, we’re up and running with the redesigned Tanager Photography website. It is awesome, and I have Hailey to thank for designing it, getting it up and running in a matter of weeks, and for being so patient and respectful of my comments and input. She’s fun to collaborate with. Check it out.

A few things to play around with:
- The galleries are now organized into three simple areas: travel, people and cuisine. Travel and People have more extensive galleries, oriented on photo essays rather than topics. This fits more in line with what we want to do with the business (e.g. editorial travel assignments, and a photojournalism approach to weddings and portraits).
- The home page slideshow is comprised of 23 images which are loaded randomly each time you visit.
- “The Latest” gallery is an RSS feed from our Flickr page, so updates will go straight into the main website. There is also a link to this blog, where we’ll have plenty of updates as well (like for our upcoming Seattle trip this weekend).
- Each slideshow has a full screen mode (above) which automatically configures the photos to your screen size, no matter how big your screen is.
- You can link directly to the PhotoShelter Archive where you can buy prints and art directors and graphic designers can license images as stock.
- There is also an interactive map that shows where our travels have taken us.
- You can also now follow me on Twitter and become a fan of Tanager Photography on Facebook.
